Bluebuddy, the musical alias of Canadian artist Daniel, embodies the essence of a “true friend” through music—a companion in both the bright and blue moments of life. With over 20 years of dedication to his craft, Bluebuddy has honed his skills as a multi-talented musician, playing piano and guitar, writing songs, poetry, composing, arranging, and mastering tracks.

 

Based in Montreal, Bluebuddy has crafted original music for albums, short films, and advertisements, blending creative expression with a professional polish. Trained in Electronic Music Production, Jazz and Contemporary Music, and Guitar Building and Repair, his artistry is as versatile as it is refined. Known for his lively energy and unwavering commitment, he has graced stages at festivals and with bands across Canada, sharing his talents on guitar and bass.

 

Bluebuddy’s lyrical talent earned him a Silver Cup from the American Society of Young Poets, and his poetry has been published internationally, including in Paris, London, the USA, and Canada. With honors in Audio Engineering, Music Production, and Jazz Performance, he is now pursuing a PhD in Composition for Film. Dedicated to sharing his expertise, Bluebuddy is developing online courses to teach jazz to students worldwide and continues his journey in audio production and guitar craftsmanship.
